Casey Ashworth’s practice areas include criminal defense, DUI defense, drug cases, shoplifting matters, orders of protection, domestic violence cases, juvenile court litigation (civil and criminal), child custody, child support, automobile accidents, wrongful death actions, and personal injury.
Casey was born and raised in Franklin, Tennessee. His mother was a teacher for the Franklin Special School District and his father worked for the postal service. Casey graduated from Centennial High School in 1997. He attended and graduated from Vanderbilt University, majoring in Spanish and Political Science. Casey is fluent in Spanish and studied abroad in Spain twice while in college.
After graduating from college, Casey worked as a Youth Services Officer at the Williamson County Juvenile Court, served as a court interpreter in various courts, was a Probation Officer for the Williamson County General Sessions Court, and served as a Magistrate (Judicial Commissioner) for Williamson County while attending law school.
Casey has been licensed to practice law in Tennessee since 2010. He is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association and the Williamson County Bar Association. Casey also serves as hearing committee member for attorney disciplinary matters involving the Board of Professional Responsibility of the Supreme Court of Tennessee. He is also a Rule 31 Mediator for family law-related issues.
Casey resides in Franklin with his wife and daughter. He is an avid traveler in his spare time and has traveled to all seven continents. Casey takes pride in providing thorough, vigorous, and compassionate representation of all his clients.
